Our Homestead Fresh Chicken Eggs

Standard Chicken Eggs- $4.00-$6.00/Dozen

We have several breeds of chickens on the Homestead to supply your egg-diction, including:

• Americana a.k.a. Easter Egger- Typically lay medium to large eggs of varying colors including creams, pinks, purples and other varying shades of brown eggs, blues, greens, and speckled eggs.

• Australorp- Typically lay light brown to brown eggs large eggs.

• Cream Legbar- Typically lay medium to large eggs, always blue, however this breed is known for their 'sky blue' color.

• Marans- We have varying types of Marans breeds on the homestead, including French Black Copper, French Cuckoo and Midnight Majesty Marans. Typically Marans lay dark brown large eggs.

• New Hampshire- Typically lays large light brown eggs.

• Olive Egger- Lay varying shades of green medium to large eggs. We have multiple types of Olive Eggers including F1, F2, BC1, BC2, and Multi-generation. What this means for you is a variety of shades of greens and if you are really lucky some speckles too!

• Orpington- We have varying types of Orpington on the homestead including Buff and Chocolate Silver Laced. Typically Orpington lay medium to large light brown eggs.

• Prairie Bluebell Egger- Typically lay medium to large eggs in varying shade of blue.

• Welbar- Typically lay medium to large, light to dark brown with speckle eggs.

• Starlight Green Egger- Typically lay medium to large light green eggs.

• Wyandotte- We have varying types of Wyandotte on the homestead including Blue Lace Gold Wyandotte, and Blue/Black/Splash Laced Red Wyandotte. Typically Wyandotte lay medium to large light brown eggs.

• Welsummer- Typically lay a dark brown with speckles, or terra cotta colored, large egg.
